An estate consultation is J$22,000 (US$165), in office or online, and maps out your estate's exact path and costs. See all fees
Legal fees
Attorney's fees for probate or letters of administration commonly run 5% to 6% of the value of the estate, reflecting the work of gathering assets, preparing the application and carrying it through the court.
Court and government charges
Court filing fees, stamp duty and, where land passes to beneficiaries, transfer costs at the Titles Office apply in addition and are itemised for you before work begins.
